30 Days Of….Day 30 – “Write it Down”

“And the Lord answered me and said, Write the vision and engrave it so plainly upon tablets that everyone who passes may [be able to] read [it easily and quickly] as he hastens by.” Habakkuk 2:2 (Amplified)

Today is day 30 and I must say thank you Lord for giving me words to write. I believe it is a blessing and a privilege to create words for God. Some days the post were short and some days they were long, but each post came from a heart of love for God. I hope that you have enjoyed the journey for these 30 days with Faye…the other side of Betty. The journey has not ended, but it has only just begun. I hope that you will continue with me as I write the vision as it is given to me.

For whatever was thus written in former days was written for our instruction, that by [our steadfast and patient] endurance and the encouragement [drawn] from the Scriptures we might hold fast to and cherish hope.” Romans 15:4 (Amplified)

“Now, go, write it before them on a tablet and inscribe it in a book, that it may be as a witness for the time to come forevermore.” Isaiah 30:8 (Amplified)

Thank you to my existing friends and loved ones who have followed me for these 30 days and thank you to the new friends that have joined me on this journey. Love, joy, peace, and blessings to you all.

30 Days Of…Day 7 – “Favorite Scripture”

I have many favorite scriptures, but one of them is Proverbs chapter 3 verses 5-7 which reads as follows from the Amplified Bible Version:

“Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; reverently fear and worship the Lord and turn [entirely] away from evil.”

This is one of my favorite scriptures because it is my natural instinct to follow the desires of my heart and not listen to voice of God. Following my way is not always the best course to follow when making  decisions. Do I always follow this scripture? No. Do I do things my way? Yes. But, I’m still a work in process and my rough edges are still being smoothed out and my frowns are slowly being turned into smiles and each day is a new day to keep trying and keep moving along the road of life.
